The National Post and three of its journalists have been nominated for investing reporting awards by the Chartered Financial Analyst Society Toronto.

The National Post is up for Publication of the Year, competing against Canadian Business and MoneySense Magazine.

Financial Post reporters Drew Hasselback and Barbara Shecter are both up for Journalist of the Year for their coverage of the investment sector.

Financial Post’s Claire Brownell has been nominated for “The Spirit of the Future of Finance Award” for her powerful investigation into how mutual fund dealers who lie and cheat are going unpunished at alarming rates.

The awards, which will be announced Jan. 28, 2016,  recognize the contributions of Ontario and Canadian based publications and journalists whose work helps consumers and advisors to gain a better understanding of the investment profession.
