Bombardier Inc to start direct sales to customers in Middle East, incur $278M charge in Q4

Bombardier will incur charges of $278 million in the fourth quarter due the move and on the cancellation of some aircraft purchase orders, the company said on Wednesday.

Canadian planemaker Bombardier Inc said it would start selling directly to customers in the Middle East and North Africa and that it would end a contract with its exclusive sales representative in the region.
